About
I am a Jamaican psychologist and educator with almost 20 years of experience in a range of leadership roles, mostly in senior academic administration and consulting. I hold a doctorate in Psychology from the University of Warwick, a master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix, and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of the West Indies, and the Open University in Science and Psychology respectively.
I am passionate about working with individual, group and executive clients to strengthen their performance, help them to find good team members, and move strategically to the next level of leadership. I have been privileged to do this kind of work as a consultant with DRI Consulting. I am also a certified performance coach.
Instructional Design and Training are activities that I love. With 20 years experience in higher education and corporate settings, I have learned to collaborate with learners to facilitate highly relevant and engaging sessions. Recent trainings I've helped design and deliver include Intellectual Humility, Effective Communication for Managers, Unconscious Bias, and Emotional Intelligence.
I am a voracious reader mostly because I love to learn. My main hobby is writing poetry. I also paint and bake. Spending time with family is a top priority.
